Pre Primary Wing (Nursery to Grade 1)
In the Pre-Primary section, teachers watch and observe children regularly to understand how they are growing and learning. They check different areas like physical movement, social behavior, emotions, and thinking skills. This is called PANCHA KOSHA VIKAS. Teachers write down their observations throughout the year and share them with parents so they know where their child is doing well and where they need to improve.
A special Montessori Lab is available to help children develop language, math, fine motor, and science skills.
For Grade 1, a 20-mark worksheet is given in subjects like EVS, GK, Maths, Hindi, and English during periodic assessments. For term exams, the test is of 30 marks. Students are not judged only by a 3-hour exam — their performance throughout the year also matters.
Middle Wing (Classes 6 to 8)
Regular tests and exams are an important part of learning here. They help teachers understand if students are thinking deeply and learning properly in class. During the year, there are 3 periodic tests of 20 marks each (reduced to 10) and 2 term exams of 80 marks each. There are also 5 marks for subject activities and 5 marks for projects or assignments.
Senior Secondary Wing
(Grade 9 & 11)
Students in Grade 9 and 11 have 2 to 3 periodic tests and 2 term exams every year as per the school planner. Each periodic test is of 20 marks (counted as 10), with 5 marks for projects and 5 marks for subject activities. Term exams are of 80 marks. All assessments follow CBSE rules.
(Grade 10 & 12)
Students in Grade 10 and 12 have 1 to 2 periodic tests, 1 term exam, and 2 Pre-Board exams to prepare them well for Board Exams. Internal marks (10, 20, or 30 depending on the subject) are given for project work, written tests, and subject activities. Everything follows CBSE guidelines.
Note: If a student misses an exam, there is no re-test. The only exception is if the student was sick — in that case, they must submit an application along with a medical certificate from a doctor.
